The Snapdragon 8 Elite-powered smartphones have officially launched in China, and they're set to make their way to India soon. For reference, the Snapdragon 8 Elite is the successor to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. This new chipset features two prime cores running at 4.32 GHz, six performance cores at 3.53 GHz, and is built on TSMC’s second-generation 3nm process.

1) Realme GT 7 Pro

The Realme GT 7 Pro has already landed in China, packing Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset under the hood. Up front, it features a 6.78-inch LTPO OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support, and Dolby Vision, with a 6,000-nit peak brightness.

It runs on Android 15 with Realme UI 6.0, and offers up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. Photography is handled by a triple rear camera setup featuring a 50MP OIS primary sensor, a 50MP telephoto lens (3x optical zoom), and an 8MP ultra-wide lens. The device supports 8K video at 24fps, with 4K and Full HD options. For selfies, you get a 16MP shooter capable of 1080p video at 30fps.

2) OnePlus 13

Leaked renders of the OnePlus 13 have surfaced, revealing some subtle but notable design changes. The phone keeps much of the OnePlus 12’s design but with a separated camera module in a distinct circle on the left and a repositioned Hasselblad branding above a metal strip. The 6.82-inch 2K LTPO OLED display now boasts a 120Hz refresh rate and a DisplayMate A++ rating, featuring the upgraded BOE X2 panel for better brightness and eye protection.

Under the hood, the OnePlus 13 will pack the Snapdragon 8 Elite (Snapdragon 8 Gen 4), up to 24GB of RAM, and 1TB of storage. It’s expected to feature a triple 50MP rear camera setup with Sony’s LYT-808 sensor, plus a 6,000mAh battery supporting 100W wired and 50W wireless charging.

3) Xiaomi 15 series

While the Xiaomi 15 series has launched in China, the Indian release date is still pending. The Xiaomi 15 features a 6.36-inch 1.5K LTPO OLED display with a peak brightness of 3,200 nits, protected by Xiaomi’s Ceramic Glass 2.0. It runs on HyperOS 2.0, based on Android 15, and is powered by up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage.

For photography, it features a 50MP primary camera with Hyper OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP telephoto lens, along with a 32MP front camera that shoots 4K video at 60fps. The phone also offers IP68 certification, an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, and a 5,400mAh battery with 90W fast charging and 50W wireless charging.

4) Asus ROG Phone 9

The ROG Phone 9’s global launch is set for November 19, but the Indian release date is still under wraps. It reportedly packs up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage, powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. Its camera setup includes a 50MP Sony LYTIA 700 primary sensor, a 50MP macro lens, and a 13MP ultra-wide camera, while the front could feature a 32MP selfie camera.

The device is expected to feature a 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a peak brightness of 2,500 nits, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2. A 5,800mAh battery with 65W fast charging and AI features round out the spec sheet.

5) iQOO 13

The iQoo 13 flagship smartphone is scheduled to launch globally on December 3. It will run on Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, paired with a 2K 144Hz LTPO AMOLED display. The phone comes with IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. Additionally, iQOO promises four years of software updates and five years of security updates.

On the camera front, the iQOO 13 is expected to feature a triple 50MP rear camera setup, including a primary, portrait, and ultra-wide sensor. It will also have a 32MP front camera for high-quality selfies. A 6000mAh battery with 120W fast wired charging ensures the phone is ready to go in no time. Plus, a unique pulsing alert light is integrated into the side of the camera module for added flair.
