Audio Pro: Creating Wireless Multiroom Magic

Promoted Content

Wireless speakers need no introduction as the market is filled with a myriad of these in all shapes and sizes. While simple Bluetooth speakers flood the market, the more premium WiFi speakers are a different breed. Audio Pro’s portfolio includes wireless multiroom speakers with WiFi and Bluetooth, making these a complete solution for wireless audio streaming.

These wireless speakers are compatible with both iOS and Android systems and allow you to stream from 400+ audio streaming apps. Pair these units with AirPlay2 or Google Cast and you can set up a multi-speaker configuration with devices from different brands. You can create multiroom groups in Apple Home, Google Home or Audio Pro Control.

The Audio Pro multiroom system comes with WiFi presets. You can play different sources on different speakers if you choose to and play on all speakers or a select few. The smart speakers come with voice control.

Portable Multiroom Speakers

Fancy a block-type bookshelf speaker that blends with your decor and offers powerful performance? Audio Pro’s current portfolio offers portable speakers in three form factors, and the C10 MkII is the largest and most powerful in this category, weighing just under 4kg. It uses two 0.75in textile dome tweeters and a 5.25in long-throw woofer to deliver powerful sound from a compact device. The C10 MkII offers RCA input for wired connection in addition to dual-band WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity. You also get an RCA out terminal for a subwoofer. Designed for multi-person and muti-room usage, the device supports Apple lossless format and Spotify Connect. A magnetically attachable grill keeps things aesthetically clean while shortcut buttons make it easy to access your favourite playlists and radio stations.

The C5 MkII is an ultra-portable multiroom speaker that’s designed to be carried around. Weighing just 2.5 kg, it comes with a flexible leather handle on top and a snap-on magnetic grill like the C10 MkII. This mini version of the C10 uses two 0.75in tweeters and a 4in woofer for a full-range audio reproduction.

If the C10 MkII and C5 MkII are made for a unidirectional listening experience, the A10 MkII is an ultra-portable cylindrical speaker designed for flexible use cases. The speaker comes with a soft fabric mesh and weighs 1.5 kg. It is wall and ceiling mountable with a standard mounting thread. It houses a 1.25in BMR driver and a 3in long-throw woofer and provides four presets for quick access.

Large Multiroom Speaker

Do you want something that can wake up the entire neighbourhood? The Drumfire II offers superior multiroom audio with its modular two-part design. The top section accommodates two 4.5in drivers and two 1in drivers, while the subwoofer unit houses a single 8in long throw driver.  You can use the top section, called Drumfire D2, as a standalone speaker delivering a full range of sounds or can be combined with the subwoofer unit so that it takes over the lower frequencies.

Multiroom TV Speakers

Audio Pro’s TV speakers are available in both bookshelf and tower forms. The A28 is a compact bookshelf and desktop speaker that uses one 1in tweeter and one 4.5in woofer for a low-cost setup that doesn’t compromise on sound. The A28 offers HDMI/ARC, Optical and RCA inputs in addition to WiFi and Bluetooth. So you don’t need separate speakers for music streaming and TV. The speaker comes with a removable magnetic grille.

The A38 and A48 are floor-standing tower speakers, and like the A28, they offer HDMI/ARC, Optical and RCA inputs, making them compatible with your TV. All three support Apple Lossless, MP3, WMA, AAC, FLAC formats and ship with remote control units with presets. The A38 uses a 1in tweeter and two 4.5in woofer, while the A48 accommodates a larger 2in tweeter and two 5.25in woofers for a larger room-filling audio.

Multiroom Streamer

You can now bring your old vinyls and CDs to life with your existing speakers if you have the Link 2. This multiroom streamer offers WiFi and Bluetooth streaming along with additional input options for the speakers in the form of USB-A and RCA ports. Output options include Optical, Coaxial and Ethernet. The device supports Apple lossless, AAC, FLAC, MP3 and WMA formats and is compatible with music streaming apps like Spotify and Tidal. Wireless streaming is available via Audio Pro, Google Cast and AirPlay2. With the US port, you can even connect an external hard drive or pen drive and play your downloaded tracks.
