There’s always a sense of intrigue when a real-life father-son duo share the screen, and that’s one of the USPs of Thar. This Western noir, starring Anil Kapoor and Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor, is about an antique dealer crossing paths with a policeman at a remote Rajasthan village, which is rocked by a series of violent killings.



If you’re looking for a dose of inspiration to get off the couch, then Jhund is a must-watch. Like most sports biographies, this is the story of Vijay Barse (Amitabh Bachchan), a retired sports teacher from Nagpur who starts a slum soccer movement in his town. This marks the directorial debut of Marathi filmmaker Nagraj Manjule.
