Lamborghini has revealed the design of the new Temerario Super Trofeo, a race car concept that will join the Super Trofeo one-make racing series across Asia, Europe, and North America starting in 2027.
The concept was introduced during the Lamborghini World Finals weekend at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli, marking it as the sixth model developed for the Super Trofeo championship since the creation of Lamborghini’s Squadra Corse customer racing program.
This new model follows the recently announced Temerario GT3, which premiered at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in July and is set to compete at the 12 Hours of Sebring next March. Together, the GT3 and Super Trofeo versions reinforce Lamborghini Squadra Corse’s continued investment in customer-focused motorsport.
Powered by a rear-wheel-drive, twin-turbo V8 engine producing 650 CV, the Temerario Super Trofeo is based on the road-legal Temerario Stradale, which features an 800 CV hybrid setup (including an additional 120 hp through hybrid assistance). The race version, however, uses a non-hybrid configuration and pairs the engine with a six-speed sequential transmission sourced from the same Hoer gearbox found in the GT3 model.
The chassis combines aluminum and carbon-fiber elements and integrates an FIA-approved roll cage. Additional race-ready systems include ABS braking and adjustable traction control with 12 different settings, emphasizing performance customization.
A standout feature of the upcoming car is the introduction of Dinamica Infinity, the first-ever 100% PES mono-component suede material designed for automotive use. It will be applied to the dashboard of the racer, marking its debut in the 2027 Super Trofeo season and representing the next step in material innovation and sustainability for Lamborghini’s motorsport lineup.
