Meta’s next wave of smart glasses has dropped — this time, with Oakley in tow. The limited-run Oakley Meta HSTN smart glasses (pronounced “how-stuhn”) come with Meta AI built in. Once paired with your phone, the glasses let you listen to music or podcasts, take calls, or interact with Meta AI. Meta AI can also respond to what you're looking at and even translate languages in real-time, courtesy of the built-in camera and microphones.

Like the Meta Ray-Ban lineup, the Oakley Meta HSTN smart glasses come with a front-facing camera, open-ear speakers, and microphones built into the frame. A key upgrade is the onboard camera that can record in sharper 3K resolution (up from 1080p). As per Meta, the battery life has also doubled, offering up to 8 hours on a single charge. The included charging case extends usage to up to 48 hours. The glasses carry an IPX4 rating for water resistance.

The collection includes five Oakley frame and lens combinations, all prescription-ready for an added fee. Frame colour choices span warm grey, black, brown smoke, and clear, with various lens options, including transitions.

The limited-edition Oakley Meta HSTN will be available for preorder from July 11th at $499 (approx. Rs. 43,000). Additional styles featuring Meta’s tech will follow later this summer, starting at $399 (approx. Rs. 35,000).
