Samsung has launched the Galaxy Tab Active5 Enterprise Edition in India, a rugged 5G tablet crafted for professionals whose duties extend well beyond the office desk. It's military-grade and IP68 protected, engineered to endure harsh conditions, while a swappable all-day battery and no-battery mode ensure operation when tethered to power.
For work out in the field, the Tab Active5 comes with an IP68-rated S Pen and a programmable key that you can set up for push-to-talk or quick access to apps. The S Pen itself is water- and dust-resistant, and can survive being dipped in up to 1.5 metres of freshwater for half an hour, as per Samsung.
The Tab Active5 sports an 8-inch WUXGA display with a 120Hz refresh rate, powered by the Exynos 1380 chipset with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, expandable via microSD.
It also supports dual SIMs with 5G connectivity. Keeping it going is a replaceable 5050mAh battery, while extras include NFC, dual loudspeakers built for noisy surroundings, a 13MP rear camera with LED flash, a 5MP front camera, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
The Galaxy Tab Active5 Enterprise Edition is priced at Rs. 49,999.
