Well, telly addicts, hold onto your remotes because Samsung has just whipped the covers off its 2025 collection of ultra-premium TVs for the Indian market, and they’re packing some serious smarts. Launched on May 7th, the big buzzword is "Samsung Vision AI," a snazzy new tech brain that's being baked into the latest Neo QLED 8K, Neo QLED 4K, OLED, QLED, and even The Frame TVs. Forget just fiddling with the brightness; Samsung is claiming these new screens use on-device AI to get a sense of their surroundings, learn what you love to watch, and then autonomously tweak things to make your viewing experience top-notch. Sounds like the humble TV is angling for a promotion to 'intelligent home companion'.

So, what’s this Vision AI all about then? Samsung says it’s built on three main ideas: AI Mode, which zaps your picture and sound with real-time optimisation based on what you're watching and the room's ambience; AI Experience, which learns your viewing habits to offer smarter content discovery and settings and Multi-Device Connectivity, for smoother hook-ups with your other gadgets. Some of the nifty tricks rolling out include Universal Gesture Control (yes, waving at your TV, with a Galaxy Watch in tow), AI Upscaling Pro to make lower-res stuff look almost 8K, Generative Wallpaper for arty idle screens, and even a Pet and Family Care Mode that listens out for barking dogs or crying babies and pings you an alert.

Leading this new charge of clever tellies is the flagship Neo QLED 8K QN950F. This beast is powered by a new NQ8 AI Gen3 Processor, which apparently uses a staggering 768 AI neural networks (that’s a lot of digital brain cells!) Available in 65-inch, 75-inch, and 85-inch sizes, it’s not just smart but also a looker, with an ultra-slim "Infinity Air" design. It naturally boasts 8K AI Upscaling Pro, Glare-Free viewing, Q-Symphony and Dolby Atmos for immersive sound, and a super-slick 240Hz refresh rate for buttery-smooth motion and gaming. The 2025 Neo QLED 4K and OLED models aren't far behind, also getting AI processors (like the NQ4 AI Gen3 for OLEDs), high refresh rates up to 165Hz, and that lovely Glare-Free tech.

Samsung's also pushing a bunch of localised smart experiences, including cloud gaming (no console needed, just plug and play), a Samsung Education Hub for big-screen learning, TV Key for direct cloud content streaming, and their Samsung TV Plus service with over 125 free channels. Naturally, these TVs will act as a SmartThings hub, all kept secure by Samsung Knox. And in a move that’ll please anyone tired of their tech becoming obsolete too quickly, Samsung is promising a rather impressive 7 years of OS upgrades for this new AI TV lineup.

If your current telly is looking a bit dim, the 2025 Samsung AI TV lineup, stretching from a modest 43in right up to a colossal 115in, is up for pre-order starting today. Prices kick off at Rs. 49,490 for the QLEDs, Rs. 63,990 for The Frame models, Rs. 89,990 for the Neo QLED 4K range, Rs. 1,54,990 for OLEDs, and a rather more wallet-testing Rs. 2,72,990 for the flagship Neo QLED 8K series. Pre-order before May 28th and Samsung is dangling carrots like free soundbars and cashback offers.
