Sony India has officially launched the BRAVIA Theatre System 6, its latest 5.1-channel home audio solution designed to deliver an immersive cinematic experience. The new system, featuring a total power output of 1000W, aims to cater to the growing demand for premium home entertainment setups in the Indian market. The BRAVIA Theatre System 6 integrates support for industry-standard object-based audio formats, Dolby Atmos and DTS:X, enabling multi-dimensional sound reproduction. Sony's proprietary S-Force PRO Front Surround and Vertical Surround Engine technologies are employed to create a wider soundstage and simulate overhead audio effects from the integrated soundbar, subwoofer, and rear speakers.
A key focus for the system is dialogue clarity, with dedicated engineering ensuring clear voice reproduction even during intense action sequences. Furthermore, when paired with compatible BRAVIA televisions, the system leverages features like Voice Zoom 3, which utilizes AI to enhance dialogue distinctness. Connectivity includes HDMI eARC, streamlining setup with modern TVs, and Bluetooth for wireless audio streaming. Sony has also incorporated recycled plastic into the product's construction, underscoring its environmental sustainability initiatives. This launch aligns with Sony India's strategic focus on the premium audio segment, aiming to capitalize on the increasing consumer interest in high-quality immersive sound experiences within the home. The adaptable design of the system further reflects an effort to cater to diverse living spaces. The new Theatre Bar 6 System is available at Rs. 49,990 and the Theatre Bar 6 is available for Rs. 39,990.
