Xiaomi has launched the Redmi 15 5G in India with notable upgrades over the Redmi 14 5G. The smartphone features a 7,000mAh battery with support for wireless charging, a 144Hz refresh rate, and a host of AI-powered features.
The smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 chipset, featuring two Cortex-A78 cores clocked at 2.3GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores running at 1.95GHz. It comes with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. Out of the box, it runs HyperOS 2 based on Android 15, with Xiaomi committing to 2 years of OS upgrades and 4 years of security patches.
It has a 6.9-inch FHD+ display with a 144Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 850 nits. The screen carries TÜV Rheinland certifications for Low Blue Light, Flicker-Free, and Circadian Friendly standards.
In the camera department, the phone has a 50MP AI dual rear camera, while selfies are handled by an 8MP front shooter. AI-powered features like AI Sky, AI Erase, AI Beauty, and Classic Film Filters add creative flexibility. For audio, the Redmi 15 includes a Button Firing Loudspeaker with Dolby certification and 200% Super Volume for an amplified sound experience.
The device houses a 7,000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging, and comes with a 33W adapter in the box. It also offers 18W reverse charging to power up other devices on the go.
The phone comes in three colour options, Frosted White, Sandy Purple, and Midnight Black, starting at Rs. 14,999.
