Triumph’s updated Speed Twin 900 rolls into India with a price tag of ₹8.89 lakh (ex-showroom). The bike comes packed with refreshed design tweaks and upgraded components.
The new Speed Twin 900 looks sportier with a sculpted fuel tank, chiselled side panels, and sleeker throttle body covers. The engine casings are slimmer, the silencer is shorter, and the headlight unit is more compact. The Bonneville engine retains its classic charm with bright machined cooling fins, black-wrapped stainless steel exhaust headers, and polished end caps. Other details include a new aluminium flip-up tank cap and a refined design for the heel guards and footpegs.
The bike gets a single-dial instrument cluster with an LCD-TFT display, offering access to speed, revs, gear info, and extra features like Bluetooth connectivity for navigation, calls, and music. Cruise control and heated grips are accessories, while a USB-C port adds charging convenience. All-LED lighting, including a DRL headlight, ensures visibility while adding a modern edge to its classic charm. The electronics suite includes Road and Rain riding modes along with cornering ABS and traction control.
Additionally, Triumph offers over 120 accessories for Speed Twin 900 owners to make the bike uniquely theirs. From functional additions like heated grips and waxed cotton panniers to custom touches that highlight its classic lines or give it a bespoke feel, there are endless ways to stand out.
Powering the Speed Twin 900 is a 900cc parallel-twin engine delivering 65hp and 80Nm, paired with a 5-speed gearbox. The engine also now meets the latest Euro 5+ emissions standards, ensuring it’s as clean as it is capable.
