Plenty of oomph for heavy applications!

Acer has dropped the news on the Nitro V16, a gaming laptop from their Ryzen 8040 series. Specifically, you can deck it out with a Ryzen 7 8845HS and Nvidia RTX 4060 GPU. Ready for release in March 2024, this machine starts at $999 (₹83,000). The Acer Nitro V 16 offers a choice between two displays—16-inch WUXGA or WQXGA resolutions. Both options bring in a refresh rate of 165 Hz and response times as swift as 3 ms. Acer says that the panels offer “fluid visuals with minimal ghosting and screen tearing.” And, the laptop packs speakers with DTS X: Ultra, promising top-notch audio quality.

Acer has also put in some AI-powered tricks. When you're streaming or video chatting, the webcam's AI-supported Acer PurifiedView and Acer PurifiedVoice 2.0 come into play. Featuring three microphones with AI noise reduction, these features aim to elevate your streaming and video calls to a whole new level.

Additional features of the Nitro V 16 include the option for up to 32 GB of DDR5 RAM clocking in at 5600 MHz and storage potential of up to 2 TB via PCIe Gen4 SSD. Acer's touting a revamped cooling system armed with a duo of high-powered fans, ensures it's more than ready to handle intense gaming sessions.

When it comes to connectivity, the I/O setup on the Acer Nitro V 16 has two USB 3 ports, one USB 4 Type-C, a microSD card reader, and an HDMI port. And it comes with WiFi 6E compatibility.
