Adidas 4DFWD running shoes won’t hold you back

That extra step forward

With marathon season just around the corner, there is nothing more important to runners than a good pair of shoes. Adidas is making big strides to help you go the extra mile with the new  4DFWD.

Setting out to revolutionize the running shoe, this pair features a 3D printed midsole technology designed to push you forward. Attempting to challenge the laws of motion, this shoe has been designed to reduce braking forces that interrupt your running motion and flow. The 3D-printed outsole isn't even the coolest aspect. The shoe has a continental outsole, that has been designed to provide grip in all weather conditions, which to the athletes of this nation is a very real problem (courtesy of the weather and roads conspiring against you).

They also have a sock-like comfort to them, fitting you like a glove (well, in this case, a sock), redesigned by Primeknit. You also get immense support from the upper construction made of mesh to provide flexibility and stretchiness exactly where the runners need it. Keeping your toes pain-free and providing some form of ventilation too.

These sneakers claim to deliver 23% more cushioning when compared to previous generations of 4D midsole when loaded vertically in mechanical testing conditions. The 4DFWD will be available in an array of colourways, including Carbon Cloud White and Impact Orange for men, alongside the Grey Five and Cloud White for women. The shoe is priced starting at ₹16,000 and will be in stores and on the website from September 1, 2022.
