Asus Zenbook 17 Fold OLED has many uses thanks to the foldable design

A first-of-its-kind!

After much speculation and a series of disclosures, Asus finally launched its 17.3in foldable touchscreen laptop in India. The device is officially called the Zenbook 17 Fold OLED and comes at a whopping price of ₹3,29,990.

It uses the proprietary foldable hinge design that allows the Zenbook 17 to offer two sizes of OLED display devices: a large 4:3 aspect ratio 17.3in touchscreen that folds in the middle to create two seamless 3:2 ratio 12.5in producing 1920x1280 resolution displays. Furthermore, the hinge is tested to withstand over 30,000 open-and-close cycles.

The Dolby Vision-certified display has a 100% DCI-P3 gamut and is Pantone Validated for colour accuracy. The TÜV Rheinland certification also reduces harmful blue light making the device safe for prolonged usage.

The Zenbook 17 Fold OLED is equipped with the latest 12th Generation Intel Core i7-1250U processor designed with 10 cores. Plus, it comes with 16GB RAM (5200MHz) and 1TB SSD.

It also comes with an ASUS ErgoSense 5.5mm Bluetooth Keyboard. The keyboard features hotkeys such as screenshots, brightness, volume etcetera. As per the brand, the Zenbook 17 has a battery life of about 24 hours when continuously used. There’s also a low-energy function to save battery life when not being used. It charges via USB Type-C.

The laptop features a quad-speaker setup tuned by Harman-Kardon and Dolby Atmos certification. Plus it has a 5MP camera that combines a colour sensor, Asus’ 3D Noise Reduction technology and AI webcam effect functions.
