Ayaneo has dropped a sneak peek of its upcoming Ayaneo 3, giving us a glimpse of its fully modular controller design ahead of the full reveal. We already know the controller features a customisable ABXY layout, but here’s where things get spicy – the Ayaneo 3 will feature its new Magic Module tech.
This clever system lets you swap out the analogue stick/D-pad component and the right-side controls, meaning you can completely tailor the button and control layout to match your favourite games and playstyle. So far, six different components have been revealed.
The switchable modules appear to snap into place using magnets, keeping everything secure. Ayaneo has also confirmed that these modules can be rotated, adding even more customisation ato the mix.

On the hardware side, the Ayaneo 3 will offer a choice between the AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 and the Ryzen 7 8840U APUs, depending on your preference. To top it off, it’ll be available in black or white finishes, with both OLED and LCD display options. Stay tuned for more updates!
