For those who still feel the ripple of Ziggy, who followed The Thin White Duke into the unknown, or cranked up Blackstar in quiet reverence—this piece of news is calling your name!
Bang & Olufsen has joined forces with legendary music photographer Denis O’Regan to unveil a hyper-exclusive edition of the Beosound A9, fronted by a rare, iconic image of David Bowie. Just 30 of these beauties are made, making them as rare as the man himself.
The special edition A9 features a rare photograph of David Bowie printed on its fabric cover—an arresting shot captured by Denis O’Regan at Newcastle’s City Hall, taken years before he would go on to become Bowie’s official tour photographer. O’Regan, who’s also held the lens for Live Aid and icons like Queen, The Rolling Stones, and Pink Floyd, describes the image as one of his personal favourites—and a standout that Bowie fans often name as their top pick.
While it turns heads with its striking Bowie portrait, the Beosound A9 under the skin remains technically unchanged. It houses seven custom-built drivers, each paired with dedicated Class D amps, and supports AirPlay, Google Cast, and wired Ethernet playback. A built-in room calibration feature fine-tunes the sound to suit your space.
Each limited-edition unit ships with a signed and numbered 12 x 8-inch print from Denis O’Regan, a bespoke box sleeve, and a Certificate of Authenticity that seals the collaboration.
The B&O Denis O’Regan Edition A9 is priced at £3995 (around ₹4,46,734).
