Bumble adds audio and video prompts to profiles to help you showcase the real you

Voice it out

Face voice mismatch is a real thing (ask Sachin Tendulkar). Bumble recognizes this is a real issue seen on occasion and has decided to add the audio prompt feature to profiles. You can now share a voice recording of up to 30 seconds with all your potential heartthrobs to show off a bit of your personality and perhaps some of your vocal range. You can even add a video of up to 30 seconds to your profile to show off the whole, real you.

To add these audio prompts to your profile go to ‘Edit Profile’ and select ‘Profile Prompts’. Then select one of the audio prompts to add your response. Like all other platforms, hold down the mic icon and get to recording. Then recheck your audio to check that your mother (or annoying friend) isn’t yelling in the background. Re-record if necessary and click ‘Save’ to add your audio prompt to your profile.

If you are more of a video person, add videos to your Bumble profile by going to ‘Edit Profile’ and uploading a video as a new option in the photo uploader. From the uploader, you can adjust and select any segment of a video up to 30 seconds, and select a frame from the video as the cover that you would like to appear on your profile. The video can then appear as the main profile photo or secondary photo with an option to mute or unmute (if you do wish to keep your voice a secret).
