Computex 2025: Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 set to arrive in September

The next-gen flagship SoC is on its way!

At Computex 2025, Qualcomm revealed its plan for a big reveal slated for the Snapdragon Summit 2025, taking place from September 23 to 25 in Hawaii. On the agenda is the much-anticipated Snapdragon 8 Elite 2, coming up as the follow-up to last year’s flagship chip.

Qualcomm teamed up with TSMC’s advanced N3P node to crank out the new silicon—an upgrade expected to bring smarter power use and better performance across the board. On the graphics side, it will likely introduce the Adreno 840 GPU, expected to deliver at least a 30% bump in performance over its predecessor.

Under the hood, the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 will also reportedly feature a CPU layout—six high-performance cores paired with two efficiency cores, with enhanced Pegasus cores possibly revving up to 5GHz. Another major feature could be support for LPDDR6 RAM, promising faster data flow and smoother responsiveness.
