Firefox’s new Urban Eco is an e-bike that can be controlled by app

We live in a time when almost all things around us are app-controlled barring humans (yet). Thus, Firefox’s new Urban Eco. Touted as the country’s first app-controlled e-bike, Urban Eco is based on German technology and can be controlled through the Firefox Fitt app (unlike humans).

There are 5-pedal assist modes to choose from, depending on the terrain, and a Shimano M315- 7 Speed shifter in addition to Hydraulic Disk Brake for smooth braking even at high speed. The Urban Eco bike is equipped with 170mm Alloy and Wellago Wide Platform pedal. As per the brand, it has a 10Ah advanced battery and can go for up to 90 kms on Pedelec mode. The bike looks quite ergonomic in terms of comfort.

As for frameset, the e-bike has Alloy Double Wall 36H rims, 50 cms frame size and Alloy Rigid Fork front suspension. The bike weighs 18.9kg and also has Bluetooth along with app connectivity.

The bike comes at a cost of ₹74,999.
