Fujifilm X-T50 mirrorless digital camera features a 40.2 MP sensor

And, a new film simulation daily!

Fujifilm India has rolled out the red carpet for the X-T50, the newest member in its X series.

The mirrorless camera weighs around 438g – so you can shoot all day without feeling like you’re lugging around a ball and chain.

The X-T50 comes packed with a 40.2-megapixel X-Trans CMOS 5 HR sensor and the X-Processor 5 engine. The 5-axis in-body image stabilisation system offers up to 7.0 stops of compensation so you can shoot handheld in low-light conditions without much hitch. It also supports 6.2K/30P video recording with tracking autofocus, plus an Auto mode that automatically fine-tunes your settings to match the scene. And, with a base ISO sensitivity of 125 and a maximum electronic shutter speed of 1/180000 sec, it looks like it's built for versatility.

The basic kit comes with the new Fujinon XF16-50mmF2.8-4.8 R LM WR zoom lens. The camera features a Film Simulation dial on the top plate, making it easy to switch modes and tweak colour tones on the fly. Fujifilm says the X-T50’s autofocus system, powered by AI and deep learning, is smart enough to detect a wide range of subjects, from animals and vehicles to even drones. Plus, its advanced AF prediction algorithm ensures you can capture fast-moving subjects with precision.

The camera also offers 20 Film Simulation modes, including the Reala Ace, giving you a palette of colour expressions to choose from. Plus, with the digital teleconverter function, you can easily magnify your shots by 1.4x or 2x.

The new rounded body of the X-T50 is designed to enhance both grip and comfort and the Film Simulation dial is positioned for intuitive mode switching. For tricky lighting situations, the integrated pop-up flash, paired with the viewfinder, adapts to dark or backlit scenes effortlessly. The camera features a 1.84 million-dot tiltable rear LCD monitor and an optimised button layout. The Fujifilm X-T50 mirrorless digital camera is priced at ₹1,49,999 (body-only).
