HeadphoneZone has launched its latest collaboration product, the HeadphoneZone x Kiwi Ears Cadenza in-ear monitors. Priced at Rs. 2,999, the Cadenza earphones come with HeadphoneZone branding alongside the Kiwi Ears logo, and come with special packaging, but are essentially the same as the standard Kiwi Ears Cadenza IEMs in every way. The HPZ edition also features a 3D-printed shell with a kaleidoscope design faceplate.
The IEMs feature 10mm beryllium-coated drivers and standard 3.5mm connectivity, which allows them to be used with a wide variety of smartphones, laptops, and other equipment such as DACs and headphone amplifiers. The new earphones come soon after the launch of the Rs. 9999 HeadphoneZone x Oriveti OD200 IEMs, and is the latest in a series of collaborations between HeadphoneZone and boutique audiophile brands.
Notably, the new earphones also come with a detachable cable with standard 2-pin connectors, so you can choose to upgrade with aftermarket cables. The included cable is a 4-core braided one which is pretty good in itself (although it doesn't have a microphone like most audiophile-grade cables), and you also get nine pairs of ear tips of different sizes and colours for a customisable fit.
The HeadphoneZone x Kiwi Ears Cadenza has a shallow U-shaped sonic signature, so you can expect it to sound fairly balanced with only a slight bias towards the lows and highs. Frequency response ranges from 20-20000Hz, and the headset has a rated sensitivity of 110dB and impedance of 32Ohms, suggesting that it'll be fairly easy to drive with even a basic DAC, or regular source equipment such as smartphones or laptops.
The HeadphoneZone x Kiwi Ears Cadenza is on sale now on HeadphoneZone.in, priced at Rs. 2,999.
