Hermès made headphones with a leather finish and a big price tag to match!

Brace your bank account.

Hermès, the purveyor of posh purses and silky scarves that cost more than a small car, is diving headfirst into the world of personal audio. And, not just any headphones, mind you. These are the kind of cans that make your bank balance weep.

Reportedly these sonic stunners have been in the making for over two years. Fashioned by the fifty-strong elite squad at Hermès Ateliers Horizons – the same clever clogs who probably stitch saddles for unicorns in their spare time – these headphones are less about just listening to your Spotify playlist and more about making a statement. A very, very expensive statement.

It features hand-stitched cowhide leather and metallic finishes that apparently nod to their legendary Kelly bag. So, you can now match your handbag to your headphones. Because, why not? Hermès is billing this as "wearable art," merging hi-fi with haute couture. The headphones are designed for a high-fidelity sound quality, with an excellent instrumental and vocal presence. They promise a natural sound featuring well-balanced bass and clear, precise tweeters.

Features include both wired and wireless connection options, active noise cancelling tech to isolate ambient noise, and an integrated microphone. Music control is intuitive thanks to a Touch function, complemented by an ON/OFF control switch and a volume wheel.

As for the technical specifications, these headphones feature a battery autonomy of 30 hours. They are equipped with 40 mm (0.2") drivers, offer a sound volume of 110 dB, a bandwidth of 20 Hz – 40,000 Hz, and an impedance of 32 Ω.

And the price? Hold onto your hats, folks. A cool $15,000.
