JioCinema to be the official digital home of FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022

In the battle for televising rights, JioCinema has bagged a big one in the form of the much awaited FIFA world cup 2022. Viacom18 Sports, just announced that JioCinema will live-stream all the matches and offer curated content around the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. From the opening on 20th November through to the closing on 18th December, all matches will be available to viewers for free on JioCinema. You heard that, free! The TV broadcast schedule will include Sports18 – 1 SD and HD.

The JioCinema app is available to download across devices including iOS and Android.  Viacom18 Sports’ 64-match showcase will feature live streaming in 4K, a first for FIFA World Cup presentation in India with multiple language feeds, including English, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Bengali,  without charging any subscription fees.

There will also be non-live programming to supplement the live coverage and the network will produce digital-first content offerings focused on World Cup heroes. So download the app and get set, because there’s a whole lot of action headed your way.
