Kia India has taken the wraps off their Seltos facelift for the Indian market. And there are some serious upgrades, both on the outside as well as inside. They've given it a fresh new look and packed it with a bunch of features.
The pièce de résistance: a voice-controlled panoramic sunroof along with an 8-speaker premium Bose audio system. You also get a dual-zone automatic AC, an air purifier and ambient lighting featuring LED sound mood lights. The 2023 Kia Seltos will be offered in eight exterior paint schemes, including two matte graphite finish colour options.
The Seltos continues its tradition with three trims —Tech Line, GT Line, and X-Line. The facelifted version, however, has truly blossomed on the exterior. The signature ‘tiger nose’ grille has taken a growth spurt and now flaunts a larger size, the LED DRLs up front has also been given a revamp, extending their reach into the centre of the grille. To keep things fresh, a tweaked front bumper with those tri-element fog lamps has been thrown into the mix.
The Seltos now struts its stuff on eye-catching 18in alloy rims, previously exclusive to the X-Line trim, giving it an even more robust presence on the road. Turning our attention to the rear, the Seltos now boasts a brand-new set of connected tail lamps, while a tweaked rear bumper puts the finishing touch on the overall design. Plus, the top-spec variants of the 2023 Seltos will get an electrically-powered tailgate!
As you enter the revamped Seltos, you’ll see the new dual 10.25in integrated displays. They feature a touchscreen infotainment system and a fully digital driver's display. To make room for this setup, the central AC vents have undergone a makeover too, becoming slimmer and more streamlined. Kia has also introduced a fresh interior colour scheme for you to choose from: black/tan. This option joins the existing lineup, which includes the all-black and the black/beige choices.
Kia has introduced its brand-new 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine, packing a punchy 160PS of power. This engine joins the lineup alongside the existing options of the 1.5-litre diesel and petrol engines. You can start booking your own slice of Seltos starting from July 14, 2023.
