KTM’s much-awaited 1390 Super Duke R is launched in India and can be yours for ₹22.96 lakh. The 200kg street naked bike arrives as a fully imported CBU model, bringing with it a bold design that’s a bit hard to ignore.
It sports a pair of vertically-stacked twin LED headlights, complemented by the brand’s signature boomerang-shaped LED DRLs. The aggressive stance is highlighted by the extended fairings, muscular tank, and exposed frame. The narrow floating tail adds to the sharp profile, while the funky graphics add a bit of flair. The 1390 Super Duke R packs a 17.5-litre fuel tank with a seat height of 834mm.

The bike is driven by a brand-new 1,350cc V-twin engine, churning 190hp at 10,000rpm and 145Nm of torque at 8,000rpm. As for features, it has – a USB C-type charging port, full LED lighting, and a 5-inch TFT instrument panel. Plus, it comes with Bluetooth connectivity and the option for KTM Connect, which offers access to navigation and more.
As the flagship model from KTM, the 1390 Super Duke R is loaded with tech to keep you in control. You get advanced traction control, launch control, wheelie control, multiple ride modes, and a bi-directional quick-shifter for smooth gear changes. The suspension is handled by a WP USD fork up front and a WP mono-shock at the rear. For braking, the bike uses dual 320mm discs at the front and a 240mm disc at the rear.
