Lego launches a 1,106-piece 1960s baby blue Vespa 125 scooter

Viva Italia!

Lego’s latest addition to its extensive collection is an ode to one of the most iconic and beautiful Italian scooters – Vespa. It is near impossible to find an original Vespa in real life, but thanks to Lego, you can now create your very own Vespa 125.
Part of Lego’s Creator Expert Line, this 1,106-piece set commemorates the 75th anniversary of the original Vespa. Launched way back in the 1960s, these pastel coloured two wheelers have become synonymous with Italian towns and cities.
Lego’s Creator Expert Line is known for its attention to details, and the Vespa set is no exception. It measures 22x35x12 cm, and comes in a rare pastel blue, which is the colour of the original scooter. The set also features two seats, spare wheel, removable engine cover, functioning kickstand and handlebars, a basket with flower bouquet, white helmet, and a period-correct 1960s Piaggio-branded licence plate.
The Lego Vespa 125 set is currently available on the company’s website, and retails at $100 (approx ₹7,500).
