Marshall has introduced the Major V on-ear headphones in India, priced at ₹14,999. The brand says the headphones deliver the iconic “Marshall signature sound,” now refined to minimise distortion and enhance audio clarity.
The earphones have 40 mm dynamic drivers with a sensitivity of 106 dB SPL (100 mV at 1 kHz) and an impedance of 32 ohms. They cover a frequency response range of 20 Hz to 20 kHz, delivering a wide spectrum of sound. Weighing 186 grams, they are designed for comfortable, extended use.
The Major V headphones are equipped with Bluetooth LE Audio, offering an extended streaming range and better audio sync for videos. It also features an "M-button" that launches Spotify Tap by default. The button can be customised via the Marshall Bluetooth app to access EQ presets or a voice assistant.
According to Marshall, the headphones deliver over 100 hours of music playback on a single charge and support wireless charging. The design maintains the iconic Marshall aesthetic, now with a more rugged build to endure daily use. Additionally, the foldable design makes these headphones convenient to pack and carry.
