MG Cyberster set to debut in India this January

New year, new car—because resolutions are overrated!

MG is all set to bring the Cyberster, its all-electric sports car, to India. The production-ready model will make its debut at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Global Expo. It’s also MG India’s first ride to be sold exclusively through its Select Channels.

The brand has also unveiled the colour options for the Cyberster in India, offering four shades– Red, Yellow, White, and Gray. Meanwhile, the European version adds Cosmic Silver and Mystic Teal to the mix.

Drawing inspiration from the iconic 1960s MG B Roadster, the Cyberster blends retro charm with a modern twist and claims the title of India’s first EV with scissor doors. The design leans sleek, with a ‘smiling’ front profile, an octagonal MG badge, a long bonnet, and a soft-top roof. It’s expected to roll out on 19- and 20-inch wheels, completing its sporty aesthetic.

Under the hood, the MG Cyberster is said to pack a 77 kWh battery and a dual-motor setup. The configuration is expected to deliver 503 bhp and 725 Nm of peak torque, making it a contender in the electric sports car segment.
