Motorola has introduced the Razr 60 Ultra in India, claiming it to be its most advanced and high-end flip phone yet. The phone runs on the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and comes with a host of AI-driven capabilities. Aesthetically, it’s offered in finishes inspired by Alcantara, real wood, and leather — in Scarab, Mountain Trail, and Rio Red colours. The device also features slimmer bezels, 20% narrower than before, and carries an IP48 rating, making it resistant to dust and capable of withstanding submersion in water up to 1.5 metres for 30 minutes.
The Razr 60 Ultra features a 7-inch LTPO AMOLED inner display with a 165Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 4,500 nits. On the outside, it features a 4-inch pOLED cover screen shielded by Gorilla Glass Ceramic. Durability is another headline feature – its stainless steel hinge is billed as the world’s toughest, tested to withstand up to 800,000 flips.
The smartphone features a triple-camera setup, headlined by 50MP sensors for both the main and ultrawide lenses, along with a 50MP front-facing camera for high-res selfies. Motorola says each camera benefits from Moto AI enhancements and delivers Pantone Validated colour accuracy for true-to-life tones. Out of the box, the device runs Android 15, with Motorola promising 3 years of OS updates and 4 years of security support.
On the software side, the phone is loaded with smart AI tools including AI Image Studio, Catch Me Up, and Remember. A standout addition is the “Look & Talk” feature, allowing users to initiate interactions with the phone simply by looking at it, completely hands-free.
The Razr 60 Ultra comes with 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of fast UFS 4.0 storage, offering support for Ultra-Wideband (UWB) and compatibility with 17 5G bands. Powering the device is a 4,700mAh battery with support for 68W wired charging and 30W wireless charging.
It will be sold in a single configuration — 16GB RAM + 512GB storage — and will go on sale starting May 21 at a price of ₹99,999.
