MSI introduced the fresh Prestige 16 AI laptop series in India. The laptops run on the latest Intel Core Ultra 9 processor and bank on Intel’s integrated NPU (Neural Processing Unit) tech. This special sauce, as per MSI, gives a boost to AI functions, making the CPU/GPU performance smoother while saving power.
The series includes MSI Prestige 13 AI Evo A1MG, Prestige 16 AI Evo B1MG, and Prestige 16 AI Studio. They're all equipped with the new MSI AI Engine, which delves into different AI-determined user situations to automatically tweak hardware settings without any manual involvement.
Specifically, the Prestige 16 AI Studio models come with options for up to 16-inch UHD+ OLED screen, an Intel Core Ultra 9 185H CPU, an 8GB NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Laptop GPU, and up to 32GB LPDDR5 RAM. The laptops weigh at 1.5kg and have a Magnesium-Aluminum Alloy chassis. Plus, they have a 99.9WHr battery that supports PD 3.1 140W Charging, promising a battery life for your on-the-go hustle.
There are two Intel EVO-certified models in the lineup, both sport NVIDIA Studio certification and a lightweight design. The Prestige 13 AI Evo comes with an Intel Core i7 155H processor and tips the scales at 990g. Plus, it houses a 75WHrs battery. The MSI Prestige AI series laptops are set to make their debut in 2024, with plans for availability by March of that year.
