Following Asus's debut of its first Copilot+ PC, the Vivobook S15, HP has got some spotlight to steal with its new AI-powered devices — the HP OmniBook X AI PC and HP EliteBook Ultra AI PC. The brand’s latest Copilot+ PCs are built for work and creation and are revved up with the Snapdragon X Elite processor, just like the Vivobook S15.
HP claims the processor can handle 45 trillion operations per second (TOPS), making it perfect for running language models and generative AI (GenAI) right on the device. Plus, it powers Microsoft’s new Copilot+ features like Recall. The devices also come with a promise of up to 26 hours of battery life, can open large Microsoft Excel files almost twice as fast, support up to 12 hours of Microsoft Teams calls, and allow for up to 22 hours of Netflix binging, as per HP.
Both the HP OmniBook X AI PC and HP EliteBook Ultra AI PC are decked out with the Poly Camera Pro, with AI features like Spotlight and Background Blur to jazz up your virtual meetings. For those who prioritise security, the EliteBook Ultra comes with Wolf Pro Security Next Gen Antivirus (NGAV) and is built as a Microsoft Secured-Core PC, offering tough protection down to the firmware.
The HP OmniBook X AI PC is up for pre-order starting at $1,199 (approx ₹99,700), with shipping kicking off on June 18, 2024. The HP EliteBook Ultra AI PC can also be pre-ordered, starting at $1,699 (approx ₹1,41,405).
