OnePlus has officially launched the OnePlus 15 in China, succeeding last year’s OnePlus 13. The new flagship brings a host of upgrades across performance, display, and battery tech. At its core, the OnePlus 15 is powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, built on a 3nm process and paired with an Adreno 840 GPU. The device comes with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB UFS 4.1 storage.
The smartphone sports a 6.78-inch third-generation BOE Flexible AMOLED screen with a 1.5K resolution, 165Hz refresh rate, and 1800 nits peak brightness. The panel supports 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut, 1.07 billion colours, and a 330Hz touch sampling rate.
It features a redesigned square triple-rear camera module, headlined by a 50MP, a 50MP ultrawide lens and a 50MP telephoto camera, with a 32MP front camera. The rear cameras support 8K video recording at 30fps, showcasing OnePlus’s focus on imaging power.
A 7300mAh battery fuels the device, supporting 120W Super Flash Charge and 50W Wireless Flash Charge. It runs on Android 16-based ColorOS 16 (China version).
Connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi 7, NFC, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, Beidou, and QZSS. For security, it integrates an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor. The phone also features a comprehensive sensor suite, including a proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, colour temperature sensor, laser focus sensor, spectrum sensor, and IR blaster.
The OnePlus 15 is available in Absolute Black, Misty Purple, and Sand Dune colourways. Prices start at CNY 3999 (approx. Rs. 50,000).
