Optoma UHC70LV is a 5000-lumen Dolby Vision-certified laser projector with HDR10+ support

Optoma has introduced its latest top-tier 4K laser projector, the UHC70LV. It features 5,000-lumen brightness, a 3,200,000:1 contrast ratio and 4K UHD dual-laser tech. It also supports Dolby Vision and HDR10+, with Optoma claiming it’s the first projector to hit the market featuring certifications for Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and Filmmaker Mode.

The UHC70LV projects up to 300 inches and offers a throw ratio of 1.2:1 to 1.92:1. Installation is easy courtesy of geometric correction. And, it has 1.6x zoom, vertical and horizontal lens shift, and 360-degree projection freedom, meaning you can position it just about anywhere.

For those who love to fine-tune their visuals, it’s calibration-ready with ISF Day and Night modes, plus an arsenal of customisation options, including 11-point RGB White Balance, CMS (Colour Management System), and RGB Gain/Bias controls.

At the heart of the UHC70LV is Optoma’s latest PureEngine Ultra processor, designed to refine HDR content with sharper details, smoother motion, and richer colours. Covering 95% of the DCI-P3 colour gamut, it is said to deliver the kind of cinema-grade colour accuracy that film buffs crave.

Sound-wise, Dolby Atmos pass-through via eARC ensures multi-dimensional audio when paired with a soundbar or AVR, while 3D sound format support adds another layer of depth. It also features WiSA SoundSend Certification, making it compatible with WiSA SoundSend wireless audio transmitters.

The Optoma UHC70LV is priced at ₹7,50,000.
