Optoma has introduced its new Wave series of laser projectors in India, which are designed for home entertainment. The series includes three models — Wave110R, Wave110S, and Wave120R, with prices starting at ₹3.6 lakh.
Optoma says the Wave series projectors deliver bright, sharp images with accurate colours. The models offer a brightness range of 3,500 to 4,300 lumens and a contrast ratio of 2,200,000:1, tailored to different room sizes and viewing preferences. The Wave 110S can project a 100-inch image from approximately 1.1 metres away. All models support 4K input and HDR, enhancing image quality through dynamic black technology.
Optoma's Wave series projectors also offer versatile installation options. With 360-degree placement and four-corner correction, these projectors can be positioned on ceilings, walls, or floors. And, you can create immersive viewing experiences with screen sizes up to 300 inches.
The projectors in the series have a compact profile thanks to an external power supply. The series utilises a DuraCore laser light source with a lifespan of up to 30,000 hours. To further enhance durability, the optical engine is sealed and IP6X certified, ensuring resistance to dust particles. Optoma also vouches for significant energy savings for the Wave series, claiming up to 45% less power consumption compared to traditional lamp projectors and a remarkable 76% reduction compared to a 100-inch TV.
