Realme 14 Pro series to feature cold-sensitive colour-changing back

Because monotony is real!

Realme is gearing up to drop its Realme 14 Pro Series in India, and it’s bringing some design flair. One standout feature is a cold-sensitive, colour-changing back panel. Realme credits this design innovation to its collaboration with Scandinavian industrial design maestros, Valeur Designers.

Using advanced thermochromic pigments, the back shifts from pearl white to vibrant blue below 16°C, reversing as temperatures rise, giving the device a dynamic, temperature-reactive personality. Adding to the flair is the “Unique Pearl Design,” which blends a pearl-like texture crafted with organic seashell powder, a sub-8mm quad-curved profile, and a lustre. Realme says this effect is enhanced by a meticulous 30-step “fusion fibre” process, made with 95% eco-friendly, bio-based materials.

Realme also shared that the 14 Pro+ 5G stands out in the Pro series with its flagship-grade quad-curved display, featuring a 93.8% screen-to-body ratio. On the back, you'll find the “Ocean Oculus” triple-camera setup paired with a unique “MagicGlow” triple flash, engineered for true-to-life night portraits.

The series also brings durability to the forefront with IP66, IP68, and IP69 certifications, ensuring resistance to dust, water immersion (up to 1.5 meters for an hour), and even high-pressure water jets. Plus, TÜV Rheinland certification backs its rugged design, proving style and substance can coexist.
