Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra leaked render shows it’s just straight up a Galaxy Note now

Staying true to its DNA

Samsung’s 2022 flagship smartphone is likely to look internally for design inspiration. If a new leak is to be believed, the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra will resemble a Galaxy Note.

A render posted by leakster Evan Blass all but confirms that the upcoming phone will be Note in every way, except the name. The front is dominated by that massive display, which slightly curves towards the sides. The selfie camera seems to be housed in the punch-hole cutout.

The rear is more interesting where the four cameras sit almost flush with the body. The render also shows the S Pen, which matches the phone’s colour, and the phone is also said to have a built-in slot to store the stylus.

Based on everything that’s leaked so far, the Galaxy S22 Ultra is expected to feature an Exynos 2200 or Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, up to 16GB RAM, up to 1TB storage, 5,000mAh battery with fast and wireless charging, IP68 rating, and four cameras at the back (108MP+12MP+10MP+10MP).

Samsung is widely expected to unveil its 2022 flagship devices sometime in early February.
