Samsung has announced that it will unveil the S25 Edge smartphone globally on May 13. The super-slim flagship device was first showcased alongside the rest of the S25 range in January this year, although it was far from a finished product at the time. The device will be the fourth in the S25 series, and will likely be positioned somewhere between the S25 Plus and S25 Ultra in terms of pricing. As the name suggests, this will be a slim flagship smartphone, with a rumoured thickness of around 5.84mm.
Not much is known about the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge beyond a few basic specifications. Samsung has confirmed that the smartphone will feature a dual-camera system with a 200-megapixel primary camera. It's also likely to be powered by the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset as on the existing S25 series devices such as the S25 Ultra.
We can also expect a 6.7-inch OLED screen, IP68 dust and water resistance, and a considerably smaller battery capacity than that of the regular S25 to work around the slim dimensions. All of this will be confirmed on May 13 by Samsung, so stay tuned.
