Simple Energy only just unveiled the Simple One electric scooter in early February, and has now introduced a slight more affordable and everyday user-friendly version that comes at a lower starting price. The Simple Energy One S electric scooter gets many of the features and specs of the Simple Energy One (2025) scooter, but starts at Rs. 1,39,999 - a fair bit lower than the 2025 version of the full-power Simple One. Interestingly, it gets the same motor performance, capable of getting to electrci scooter up to a top speed of 105kmh.
The Simple Energy One S scooter is the successor to the Simple Energy Dot One, and has a fixed 3.7kWh battery. The scooter comes with a claimed riding range of 181km per charge, and the four riding modes that are available on the Simple Energy One (2025) - Eco, Ride, Dash, and Sonic. The top speed of 105kmh and acceleration of 0-40kmh in 2.55 second can be achieved in Sonic mode.
The new scooter also gets 35L of under-seat storage and a seat height of 770mm, promising more convenience and riding comfort. For connectivity, the Simple One S will get embedded 5G connectivity, along with support for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, which can be used to connect to smartphones and provide call and notification management features on the 7-inch touch-screen system. Other features such as park assist, Find My Vehicle, turn-by-turn navigation, regenerative braking, and tire pressure monitoring on the screen are also present.

Simple Energy recently launched the Simple One (2025) - pitched as a generation 1.5 of the original One scooter launched in 2022. The Simple One (2025) is priced at Rs. 1,66,694, and the company has plans to expand its retail presence all over India in the coming months. For now, the Simple Energy scooter range including the new One S are available across 15 existing showrooms in select cities and locations, including Bengaluru, Pune, Goa, Vijayawada, Hyderabad, Vizag, and Kochi.
