Sonos has lifted the curtain on what is believed to be its most sophisticated soundbar yet — the Arc Ultra, a follow-up to the original Arc. It features the new Sound Motion tech that, as per Sonos, shrinks the transducers while dialling up the bass in a big way.
The result? You get twice the low-end punch compared to the first Arc, plus an immersive 9.1.4 spatial audio experience. With 14 drivers — including upward- and side-firing ones — this soundbar promises audio like it’s got a full home theatre hidden inside.
Built with big-screen setups and cinematic soundscapes in mind, the Sonos Arc Ultra comes fully loaded with Dolby Atmos support and a reworked centre driver layout that sharpens up vocal clarity.
There's also a fresh Speech Enhancement tool, accessible through the Sonos app, letting you tweak dialogue levels to your liking. And now, Sonos' Trueplay tuning tech works across both iOS and Android, helping you tailor the sound to your room’s acoustics.
On the connectivity front, the Arc Ultra steps things up with HDMI eARC, Bluetooth line-in, built-in voice control via Amazon Alexa and Sonos Voice, and touch controls. Design-wise, the touch panel now lives discreetly along the back edge, keeping the front face clean and clutter-free.
Teaming up with the Arc Ultra is Sonos has also launched its latest bass beast — the Sub 4. Now in its fourth generation, this subwoofer is about deeper, tighter lows with zero unwanted rumble. It uses dual inward-facing woofers in a force-cancelling layout, meaning all that chest-thumping bass comes clean, without the buzz or shake.
Under the hood, it’s been upgraded with more processing muscle, improved memory, and stronger WiFi connectivity. A new matte finish — in classic black or white — rounds out the package.
As for pricing, the Arc Ultra lands at ₹99,999, while the Sub 4 comes in at ₹84,999.
