Sony ZV-1 II compact vlogging camera is priced at ₹86,990

Extra room for your vlog

Want to create those caricatures in motion with wide-angle distortion? Or squeeze in a bit more of you into your selfie? This might just be the tool for you. Sony has introduced the second version of their popular compact vlogging camera, the ZV-1. The new ZV-1 II features a lens with a wider angle than the ZV-1, providing more wiggle room for content creators to work around.

Relying on the capturing brilliance of the same 1.0-inch sensor, the ZV-1 II offers a seamless transition between sharp focus and background blur with the Bokeh Switch, while the Fast Hybrid AF system keeps subjects in sharp focus even while it’s dynamically moving around. What more? An Active Mode electronic image stabilisation keeps the footage steady even if you are a modern cowboy shooting on horseback. While you are at it, an intelligent 3-capsule mic is always ready to pick up those fine audio details while Face Priority auto exposure and Soft Skin Effect present your face at its flawless best.

At the heart of the camera is a 20.1 megapixel, 1.0-inch sensor aided by a BIONZ X image processing engine. The system is mated with a Zeiss Vario-Sonnar T* 18-50mm F1.8-4 lens for incredible imaging. Features include Cinematic Vlog setting, five Looks, four Moods, and Creative Look, which supports 10 preset looks.

The ZV-1 II can capture up to 4K resolution and features Real-time Eye AF, which can automatically recognise and focus on Human or Animal eyes. The ZV-1 II vlog camera will be available from Sep 25, 2023, at ₹86,990.
