Kinetic has rolled out its all-new DX electric scooter in India, blending fresh styling with a dash of retro charm from its iconic predecessors. Priced at Rs. 1.11 lakh (ex-showroom) for the standard model and Rs. 1.17 lakh for the DX+, the scooter marks a bold comeback for the brand in the EV space.
The all-new Kinetic DX borrows subtle cues from the beloved Kinetic ZX of yesteryears while stepping into the electric age. Its contemporary design is highlighted by sporty LED headlamps and a distinctive Kinetic logo-shaped LED DRL. It's got a full metal body, spacious floorboard, and a 37-litre under-seat storage—capable of fitting a full-face helmet, a half-face one, and even some daily essentials, per Kinetic.
The DX features an 8.8-inch digital instrument cluster and pairs with a dedicated mobile app for smart connectivity. Step up to the DX+, and you get Telekinetic features like real-time ride stats, Geo-fencing, Intruder alerts, Find My Kinetic, and Track My Kinetic, turning the scooter into a full-fledged smart mobility companion.
Both versions come with a Kinetic Assist switch for instant Bluetooth-based CRM support. Other handy Bluetooth-enabled goodies include music playback, voice-guided navigation, and even cruise control.
Powering the Kinetic DX is a 2.6 kWh Range-X battery pack. Claimed to deliver 4 times the life of standard NMC batteries in the Indian market, with an impressive 2,500 to 3,500+ charge cycles. The DX+ variant offers an estimated IDC range of 116 km on a single charge, while both models can hit speeds of up to 90 km/h. Plus, it's got three selectable ride modes – Range, Power, and Turbo.
Underneath, the DX is equipped with telescopic front forks and adjustable rear shock absorbers for a smooth and composed ride. Braking is handled by a 220mm front disc and a 130mm rear drum, paired with combi-braking.
The DX+ comes in five colours—Red, Blue, White, Silver, and Black—while the standard DX keeps it classic with Silver and Black options. Bookings are now live on the Kinetic EV website, with a token amount of just ₹1,000 securing your spot—though only 35,000 units are up for grabs. Deliveries are scheduled to kick off in September 2025.
