Ubisoft’s Photomode Contest will reward your in-game photography skills

Capture thy art

In-game photography is becoming more than just a hobby among gamers. Many games now ship with photo-capturing tools to capture the game’s manic action in the best angle possible. Even PlayStation runs a weekly showcase of the best photos captured in-game on its Instagram. But Ubisoft’s Photomode Contest is more than just a social shoutout.

The best photos selected from this contest will be displayed in an art exhibition at Ubisoft Montreal’s studio along with a fine art print of your winning shot, a one-year access to Ubisoft + and some Assorted Ubisoft goodies. The best of the lot will also get a VIP tour of the Ubisoft Montreal studio, meanwhile, the second prize will additionally include a copy of Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora.

Here’s how you can participate in the contest. The contest starts on February 19, 2024, and submissions close on March 4, 2024. You have to post your best shot on X or Instagram and tag @Ubisoft and using #UbisoftPhotoModeContest or, in the dedicated channel on Discord or, on this website link.

You can post 1 to 4 in-game photographs inside a Ubisoft game that includes an in-game photo mode tool. These photos can only be modified with the in-game photo mode tools and no other app. Also, make sure to keep the HD picture on your device because Ubisoft might need it for later if you are part of the final selection.

Between March 4 and 15th, the jury will decide the 20 best entries including a big winner and post that the winners will be informed through an email. On March 20th, you will be able to see all the winners of the contest on social media and the Ubisoft website.
