Xiaomi has officially announced the launch date for the Mix Fold 4. While the foldable is expected to see a broader release, there remains uncertainty about its availability in markets such as India, where the competition in the foldable segment has heated up this year, with more models anticipated.
The smartphone is set to launch in China on July 19, with company founder Lei Jun and his team presenting the new foldable device. In a recent post on X, Jun revealed some expected features of the Mix Fold 4, including its weight and thickness. According to the post the smartphone will weigh around 226 grams and will be 9.47mm thin, which Jun claims will make it feel like a regular smartphone.
The smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. The camera system, developed in collaboration with Leica, promises exceptional quality, as demonstrated in the Xiaomi 14 and 14 Ultra models. Despite its slim profile, the Mix Fold 4 is expected to house a substantial battery, with support for both fast wired and wireless charging.
