Xiaomi’s latest flagship X Pro QLED TV has Filmmaker mode

Movie night just got better!

Xiaomi’s latest flagship QLED TV is certainly looking very promising. Nits and features aside, the brand has now joined the esteemed Filmmaker circle which brings a new mode next to Dolby Vision and standard HDR. The Xiaomi X Pro QLED TV series can now show you the most accurate representation of contrast, frame rate and colour as the director intended. Sort of like the colours you see at your local cinema. Ideal for shouting "You shall not pass!" along with Gandalf in the correct frame rate.

So, what’s under the hood? Well, for starters, it’s got QLED smarts, promising rich, lifelike colours. They’re banging on about Dolby Vision for punchy contrast. Sound-wise, Xiaomi’s integrated its own "Xiaomi Sound" system. It packs 34W box speakers boosted by DTS:X and DTS Virtual:X for that ‘sounds-like-it’s-all-around-you’ effect, plus Dolby Audio for clear dialogue. So, whether it’s explosions or whispered secrets, you shouldn’t miss a beat (or a bang).

That said, the majority of the TV's appeal is its incredible pricing and nifty features. Remote is all-new as well, thanks to the government because having numbers and all is mandatory now! Quick buttons for Netflix, Prime Video, YouTube, and the like are present and correct. And yes, hallelujah, there’s a mute button! Seems simple, but you’d be surprised.

Want one? They hit the shelves (virtual and real) from April 16th, 2025. Prices start at ₹31,999 for the 43-incher, ₹44,999 for the 55-inch, and ₹64,999 for the big 65-inch daddy. Early birds might snag a bank discount, too. You can grab them from mi.com, Flipkart, and other shops.

Oh and being a modern telly, it’s got all the smart gubbins. PatchWall and Xiaomi TV+ offer free channels and recommendations. There's a Kids Mode with parental controls. Plus, Google Assistant is built-in for bossing it about with your voice, and it plays nice with Google Cast, Miracast, and AirPlay 2 for flinging stuff from your phone or tablet.
