Lenovo Legion 9i (16in) has a self-contained liquid cooling system along with 3.2K Mini-LED display

The king of cool?

Lenovo has launched the all-new Lenovo Legion 9i (16in) and dubbed it as the world's first 16in laptop featuring a self-contained liquid cooling system. The device comes equipped with the Legion Coldfront integrated liquid-cooling setup, a collaborative creation with Cooler Master, designed to tackle up to 230W TDP. According to Lenovo, this system ensures your GPU remains chill even during the most demanding gaming marathons, and it's backed by a triple-fan air-cooling arrangement complete with 6,333 intake vents. Cool, quite literally yeah!

Under the hood, the Lenovo Legion 9i (16in) packs Intel Core i9-13980HX processor and Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090 laptop GPU. Plus, you can take your pick between 64GB of overclocked 5600Mhz DDR5 RAM or a slightly tamer 32GB of overclocked 6400Mhz DDR5 RAM. When it comes to storage, it offers storage options of up to 2TB PCIe (Gen 4) SSD.

The Lenovo Legion 9i laptop showcases a 3.2K Mini-LED display that boasts a 165Hz refresh rate with a 94% screen-to-body ratio. Plus, it's got some serious AI wizardry under the hood, fine-tuning power distribution between the GPU and CPU, harmonising RGB lighting effects and head-tracking functionality. But that's not all, Lenovo has calibrated this display with X-Rite software to ensure you get the most faithful colours possible. And, it has partnered with Nahimic by SteelSeries to deliver 3D sound that you can tweak to your heart's content with adjustable controls.

Lenovo has crafted a light A-cover using forged carbon chips not only to bear the weight of the liquid-cooling system but also to bestow each Legion 9i with its own unique pattern. The laptop maintains a svelte profile, tipping the scales at 2.56kg.

When it comes to power, the Legion 9i packs a 99.99Whr battery that you can juice up using the included 330W Slim Adapter or the 140W Type-C Power adapter. As for connectivity, you’ll get Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3, thanks to MediaTek’s Filogic 380 Wi-Fi card, serving up wireless speeds that'll make your head spin at up to 6.5Gbps.  Lastly, the laptop comes with Windows 11 and a 3-month Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription. Stay tuned to know the price!
