Sennheiser Accentum True Wireless review

Sennheiser Accentum True Wireless: Design and Build

The Accentum True Wireless are unassuming to look at. There’s nothing overly fancy going on and it's a simple box that looks like it stores a ring. Build quality is fantastic for the price and it seems like it can survive a few accidental falls. The case isn’t just a looker. It supports wireless charging and lends the buds a cool 20 hours of additional battery on a single charge. However, a ten minute charge equals an hour of music!

Sennheiser Accentum True Wireless: Features

At Rs. 12,990, these have plenty to offer in terms of features. They get ANC which is backed up by a beamforming mic array, a transparency mode, support for the aptX codec, multi-point Bluetooth and they also have an IP54 rating. The whole package seems well put together for

the price that you pay.

While the ANCs support touch controls on the buds themselves, the Sennheiser Smart Control app offers a few more features which include a five band equalizer to tinker with the output and other customisation.

Sennheiser Accentum True Wireless: Sound Quality

We play Wolf Totem by The Hu and the True Wireless manage to portray a wonderful presentation of the hard hitting vocal, with enough detail and definition to make you go wow. The bass line that is the backbone of the track also sounds crisp.

We can't help but notice that these buds do not like to have a lot of fun. They drive the music with caution and apprehension. That translates to a sore lack of outright oomph and excitement which seems to be a theme with the Accentum series. But for those who like a more clinical listen, these are worth an audition.

Sennheiser Accentum True Wireless: Verdict

So. Should you get one? That's a question that is answered with a question - what kind of application do you like to your music. If you're all about that bass, then something from Sony's new ULT series might fit the bill. If you like to pick out individual instruments, perhaps the Jabra Elite series should be on your list. If you want a neutral approach without a lot of oomph and verve, the Accentum might just be what you're after.
