CES 2024: New Alienware m16 R2 features Stealth Mode

Drops monitors, peripherals too

Alienware has launched notebooks, peripherals, and monitors at the CES 2024. New gaming notebooks include the redesigned Alienware m16 R2, the ultra-premium x16 R2, and the high-performer m18 R2. The improved features include a completely revamped cooling system with Cryo-tech cooling with a smaller, yet more efficient package, redesigned hinges, and new Stealth Mode that turns the keyboard backlighting white, switches off all other AlienFX lighting zones, and shifts performance mode to Quiet to reduce fan noise. This is aimed to provide an unobtrusive profile when required. The laptops are powered by Intel Core Ultra H Series processors and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 series GPUs up to 4070. The x16 R2 offers a TDP of 220W with up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 laptop GPU.

Alienware AW3225QF and AW2725DF join the QD-OLED monitor lineup, while the new Alienware Pro Wireless Keyboard and Pro Wireless Mouse strengthen the pro gaming peripherals portfolio.

Alienware m16 R2 and m18 R2 are set to debut on January 11, while the x18 R2 will make its entry later. The m16 R2 prices will start at $1,499, while the m18 will retail at prices starting at $1,899.99. The x18 will carry a price tag starting from $2,099.99.
