Xiaomi’s new Smart Pet Fountain 2 is a water dispenser for your furry friends

Xiaomi’s Mijia lineup got a paw-some new member—the Smart Pet Fountain 2. Designed with your furry friends in mind, this gadget makes sure your pets stay happily hydrated with fresh, filtered water.

The Smart Pet Fountain 2 comes equipped with a generous 3L reservoir, providing enough water to keep your pet hydrated for up to 15 days on a single refill, as per Xiaomi. Its advanced four-stage filtration system ensures consistently clean and fresh water by effectively removing debris, pet hair, and other impurities.

The machine offers three water flow modes—steady flow, bubbling fountain, and gentle streams, and operates quietly. With an IPX7 waterproof rating, the entire unit can be safely washed and cleaned without risk of damage.

Powered by a 4000mAh battery, Xiaomi says, it delivers 100 days of battery life. Plus, it’s also part of Xiaomi’s intelligent ecosystem, allowing you to monitor water levels, filtration status, and more through the Xiaomi Home app. 

Xiaomi’s new Smart Pet Fountain 2 is priced at 199 yuan (approx. ₹2300) for the main unit and 39 yuan(approx. ₹450) for the filter cartridge set.
