LG’s 2022 range of home appliances brings in improved functionality with AI smarts

LG 2022 refrigerators

LG has added the latest InstaView door-in-door refrigerators to its 2022 lineup. These refrigerators look premium and elegant with their metallic finish, and the highlight is the 23% bigger InstaView Window. A double knock on this window illuminates the content on the inside, which you can then easily access without opening the whole door. 

Features like Door Cooling+ and Hygiene Fresh+ improve the cooling and also eliminate the up to 99.999% bacteria and odours inside the refrigerator. 

Being a smart appliance, it can be remotely accessed using the LG ThinQ app. Using the smartphone app, one can control the temperature and cooling, while the built-in Smart Learner analyses usage patterns to automatically optimise cooling and energy efficiency.  

LG’s 2022 InstaView door-in-door refrigerator costs ₹2,21,899, and is available in Matt Black and Brush Steel colourways.

LG 2022 washing machines

LG’s Direct Drive Series of front load and top load washing machines are powered by AI, which recognises the weight and fabric type to automatically choose wash patterns. They are also compatible with the LG ThinQ app, which allows users to monitor wash cycles even when they aren’t at home. 

The front load machines use six motions to enhance washing performance, while reducing noise and vibrations. The top load models come with a TurboWash feature that reduces time, energy and water consumption per wash cycle, resulting in lower carbon footprint. 

Prices for LG’s Direct Drive Series washing machines start from ₹44,990, and are available in various colours and capacities.

LG 2022 air conditioners

LG Electronics showcased its new range of VIRAAT Super 5-star air conditioners, which are said to be up to 11% more efficient than standard 5-star air conditioners. This new range comes with a 35% bigger outdoor unit, which allows the AC to operate efficiently at higher temperatures.

The AI-enabled mode automatically analyses the ambient temperatures and switches to the mode that’s perfect for cooling the surroundings. These appliances are compatible with the ThinQ app, and can also be voice controlled using Amazon Alexa.

LG 2022 dishwasher

LG Electronics’ dishwasher range gets a more contemporary looking matt black model. Features-wise it comes with TrueSteam and Quad Wash to efficiently clean every utensil in the rack from all possible angles. 

Similar to the other smart appliances, this new dishwasher too is compatible with the ThinQ app that lets you download cycles and personalise settings. Prices for the 2022 range of dishwashers start from ₹64,990 and go up to ₹74,990.
