Microsoft’s latest stream was packed with trailers from partner studios, including some long-awaited first reveals. A bunch of these games will hit Xbox Game Pass on day one, so you’ll be able to dive right in when they launch. Here are all the trailers from the October Xbox Partner Preview!

Alan Wake 2 DLC: The Lake House

Xbox dropped another trailer for The Lake House, the second expansion for Alan Wake 2, set to release on October 22. This latest glimpse gives us a look at actual gameplay. Excitingly, it confirms that Kiran Estevez, the Federal Bureau of Control agent from the base game, will be a playable character in this DLC!

Known for titles like The Medium and their recent success with the Silent Hill 2 remake, Bloober Team is back with an exciting new project. Bloober Team teamed up with Xbox to unveil a new game called Cronos: The New Dawn. While there’s no release date yet, this marks our first look at the game, and it’s definitely one to keep an eye on!

Blindfire

The neon-punk shooter Blindfire from UK studio Double Eleven dropped a reveal trailer. Players will need to manage light strategically – starting in darkness, they can use thermal scans, explosions, spotlights, and black lights to track opponents navigating a map that feels like a laser tag arena. The game is available in early access for Xbox Series X and S, as well as PC!

Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza In Hawaii

A new trailer for the charming Yakuza spinoff features Goro Majima as the sole protagonist, happily bouncing around Hawaii and blissfully unaware of his organised crime past. The trailer also introduces naval combat, which will be part of the final game. If you pay close attention, you'll notice that the release date has been moved up to February 21, 2025, shifting a week earlier to avoid launching on the same day as Monster Hunter: Wilds.

Mouse: P.I. For Hire

If you loved Cuphead’s unique style, then Mouse: P.I. For Hire should definitely be on your radar. This FPS draws inspiration from 1930s cartoons and is set to launch in 2025 for Xbox Series X and S, as well as PC.

Subnautica 2

A trailer for the highly anticipated Subnautica 2 has been released, showcasing the vibrant, beautiful coral reefs in the shallow waters, along with some monstrous creatures lurking deeper beneath the surface. Subnautica 2 is set to launch in early access in 2025 for Xbox Series X and S, as well as PC.

 

Animal Well

The indie hit Animal Well, which launched for PC and Nintendo Switch back in May, is now available on Xbox Series X and S. The news was announced in a fun video featuring YouTuber Dunkey, who, surprisingly, is also the publisher of the game. 

Edens Zero

Based on the popular manga, Edens Zero is an action-adventure game that lets players join the series' characters as they slash and shoot their way through a thrilling sci-fi adventure. The game is set to launch in 2025 for Xbox Series X and S, as well as PC.

Eternal Strands

The Eternal Strands trailer showcased a colourful, vibrant world brimming with environmental and elemental combat. Players will be able to hurl objects—and themselves—across the maps while facing off against massive enemies, reminiscent of Shadow of the Colossus. The game is set to launch in early 2025 for Xbox Series X and S, as well as PC.

Mistfall Hunter

A new trailer for Mistfall Hunter from Bellring Games revealed a dark hack-and-slash adventure featuring fast-paced melee, ranged, and magic combat, akin to a third-person Diablo. Players will face off against massive enemy bosses, adding to the challenge. According to Xbox Wire, the game combines Soulslike combat with extraction-action mechanics, though more details will likely emerge as the launch approaches. Mistfall Hunter is set to arrive in 2025 for Xbox Series X and S, as well as PC.

Wheel World

Ready to cruise through a vibrant open world filled with quirky secrets? Check out the trailer for the upcoming game Wheel World, where players ride their custom pedal bikes in a lush cel-shaded art style that’ll remind you of Sable. And let's not forget the floating flaming skull that cycles alongside you! Wheel World is set to release in early 2025 for Xbox Series X and S, as well as PC.

Phasmophobia

Studio Kinetic Games' spooky multiplayer ghost-hunting game Phasmophobia, which first launched on PC in 2020, is finally making its way to Xbox Series X and S. Mark your calendars—it’ll be available in over a week, on October 29!

The Legend of Baboo

The Legend of Baboo trailer unveiled a charming new adventure game set on a beautifully vibrant yet mysterious island. Players will step into the shoes of a young boy alongside his large, fluffy, and totally rideable dog, exploring beaches, mountains, and uncovering the island's dark secrets. With action-adventure gameplay reminiscent of classic Rare titles, this game promises a delightful experience. Look for it on Xbox Series X and S, as well as PC, in 2025!

Wuchang: Fallen Feathers

A trailer for an upcoming game from 505 Games reveals a gory action-adventure that fuses Chinese history with dark fantasy and magical combat. While it’s hard to pinpoint if the combat is strictly Soulslike, it definitely packs a bright, bloody punch and showcases some wild enemy designs. It launches on Xbox Series X and S, as well as PC, in 2025!

FBC: Firebreak

The long-anticipated multiplayer game set in the Remedy Games' Control universe has finally been revealed! FBC: Firebreak challenges players to team up in groups of three agents to tackle the chaos unleashed by the Federal Bureau of Control. From what we’ve seen, players can choose from various classes, each with unique abilities and weapons. However, we'll need to wait for more details to fully understand how the game will be structured. FBC: Firebreak is set to launch in 2025 for Xbox Series X and S, as well as PC.
