Bowers & Wilkins' Pi7 S2 and Pi5 S2 look chic and drown out the noise!

Turn on, tune in, zone out

Bowers & Wilkins just launched the second generation of their flagship earbuds: the Pi7 S2, along with the latest iteration of its true wireless earbuds: the Pi5 S2. Even though the focal point of these devices is the top-in-class audio they offer, our attention was caught by just how pretty they look. The design hasn’t changed but the new colour variants are quite chic, especially the Midnight blue variant on the Pi7.

First things first: the Pi7. These earbuds certainly retain the hi-res audio output of its predecessor and True 24-bit connection between left and right earbuds for audio that adjusts dynamically. There are two-way drive units in each earbud and Advanced active noise-cancellation that is fed by six microphones and the traveller-friendly wireless audio retransmission function.

The Pi5 on the other hand have aptX for high-quality wireless transmission and Advanced hybrid noise-cancellation technology that, as per the brand, banishes unwanted noise and interruptions. It has 9.2mm dynamic drivers and uses four microphones for its active noise cancelling. And you can also control the ANC strength. Both the models also have enhanced battery life and redesigned internal antenna for extended Bluetooth range.
